Maria spent the winter on her mooring in Pyefleet Creek and when she came out of the water for bit of tlc prior to the 2014 racing season, she was sporting some interesting growth!
During the season she gets a scrub every few weeks, but this colourful marine life had had a few months to get established. A blast with the pressure washer at Morgan’s hard in Brightlingsea soon shifted it – and the crew could get on with the job of sanding her down ready for a new coat of antifouling in Maria’s trademark green.
